Weight Loss Recipe - Pomegranate Vinegar

Ingredients:
1 cup pomegranate seeds
2 cups white wine vinegar

Preparation:
Put the pomegranate seeds in a dry sterilized jar and cover with the white wine vinegar. Seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid. Place this in full sunlight (a sunny window works well). Let the mixture stand 8 to 10 days or until desired strength is achieved.

Why pomegranate helps for weight loss:
It is rich in antioxidants and other nutrients. The Pomegranate is said to be able to cleanse and rejuvenate the body. So most of the people consider pomegranate helps to lose weight and its added in weight loss diet.

Weight Loss Recipe - Peach Tart

Ingredients:
flour, 1 Tbsp.
Aspartame sweetener, 8 packets
Sliced, pitted, peeled fresh peaches OR thawed frozen peaches, 4 c.
Ground nutmeg, dash
Pie pastry, 9-inch, 1 (single crust)

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Roll out pastry onto a floured surface into about 12-inch circle. Transfer to ungreased cookie sheet. Combine flour and sweetener. Sprinkle over peaches and toss. Top pastry with peaches leaving a small border along the edges. Sprinkle with dash of nutmeg. Fold edges of pastry in, and over. Bake until crust is browned and fruit tender (about 20 to 30 minutes).

Weight Loss Recipe - Peaches

Ingredients:
4 ripe peaches
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries or blueberries (if frozen, thaw berries to room temperature)
2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
4 teaspoons fresh squeezed lemon

Preparation:
Prepare grill. Wash and halve peaches. Remove pits and discard.
Place one halved peach, cut side up on a square of aluminum foil. Fill cavity with berries.
Sprinkle berries with brown sugar then drizzle with lemon juice.
Bring sides of foil up and wrap over top and sides of the peach. Repeat process with other peach half. Grill for 15-20 minutes before serving.

Weight Loss Recipe - Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients:
A dozen small strawberries
1 rice cake
1 Vanilla LA Drink Mix
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Preparation:
Put the rice cake in a small bowl. Next prepare LA Drink Mix with 4 ounces water. Add lemon juice to it. Add the strawberries on top of rice cake and pour the drink mixture over the strawberries. Lastly garnish with a few strawberry on top for good measure.

Weight Loss Recipe - Apple Berry Crumb Cobbler

Ingredients:
1 red gala apple
6 medium strawberries
1/2 cup fresh raspberries - whole
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup of reduced fat graham cracker crust, crumble well
2 packets of sugar substitute
1 tablespoon of softened margarine
Preparation
Preheat oven to 345 degrees. Spray a 8 by 8 inch baking pan with light Pam or cooking spray. Mix all of the fruits together and toss with sugar a substitute. Next arrange it in the baking pan. Now, in bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cinnamon and nutmeg. Gradually blend in softened margarine while you use a fork to combine. Sprinkle this mixture over the fruits in pan.
Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until done. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Weight Loss Recipe - Orange and Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup of fresh mango cut into little cubes. Make sure you peel the mango.
1 cup of crushed ice
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 teaspoon of honey
1/2 a lime or lemon

Preparation

Add all the ingredients, except the lime or lemon, into your blender and mix it until the ice, mango, milk, orange juice, and honey is nicely blended into a smooth mixture.
Once all the ingredients are mixed well squeeze in the lime or lemon by hand. Make sure you squeeze in at least 1/2 a teaspoon worth. And then blend it one more time.

Weight Loss with Apricots

Ingredients
1/4 cup apricot spreadable fruit
Juice and pulp of 1 lemon (about 2 1/2 Tbsp)
1 1/4 lb tilapia fillets (see Note)
1/8 tsp onion powder
2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper
Preparation
:: Heat oven to 425°F. Spray baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
:: Apricot spreadable fruit in small bowl. Squeeze juice and pulp of lemon into bowl and stir to combine.
:: Fish fillets and pat dry. Season lightly with salt, pepper and onion powder.
:: Place fillets in baking pan.
:: Brush apricot mixture on top of fillets.
:: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, 10 minutes per in. thickness of fillet). Bake until fish is white and flaky.
:: Garnish fish with fresh parsley.

Weight Loss Recipe - Spinach Dhokla

Ingredients:
Besan 1/2 cup, Red chilly powder 1/4 tsp, Oil 1 tsp, Spinach 8-10 leaves, Sugar 2 tsp, Eno fruit salt 1 tsp, Juice of 1 lemon, Finely chopped Green, Grated Ginger 1 inch, Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp, Salt to taste and Chilies 2.

Preparation:
Take a bowl and mix besan with chopped spinach, ginger, green chilies, sugar spice powders and salt to taste. Then mix water to make a smooth paste by using approximately1/2 cup of water for 1 cup of besan. After that mix one teaspoon full of oil and stir well. Next step is to heat up 1 cup of water and then place it on a pan having some water in it. You have to smear the pan with oil in order to lubricate it. As the water starts to boil, you can add the Eno fruit salt to the paste and stir continuously. Then pour the paste over the already greased pan and place it on top of the vessel with water in cooker. After covering the lid it should be steamed in the cooker on moderate temperature without a whistle. Then it should be cooked for about 15-20 minutes until the fork or a toothpick comes out totally clean. Then it should be removed from the cooker to make pieces. Then start heating oil in a small vessel and put few mustard seeds. Let it fry for a while. Then some green chilies should be added and heat should be turned off. Then add approximately 2 tablespoons of water and some lemon juice. One should pour this mixture with, water, lemon mix on top of the dhoklas. Then let the dhoklas soak the liquid for a couple of minutes. The dhoklas are ready to be served.
